Book a private, guided tour: Copenhagen from the ice age to today

Join us on a journey through the history of Copenhagen on this guided tour of the permanent exhibition. The tour includes a wide range of stories about Copenhagen and Copenhageners through the ages.

See, for example, the reindeer antlers hunters of the Ice Age. Hear about the medieval warrior, greetings in the 1700s, the dramatic story of escape artist Morten Frederiksen, and about the epidemics and fires that have helped shape Copenhagen as we know it today. See the museum’s interactive model charting the pulse and development of the city.
